Anyone seen it? Saw it tonight, but gory, brilliant though, love a bit of escapist tosh.

I'm going today with dh. I've got the meerkat offer so only costing just over £7 for both.
I didn't realise it was gory. It's had decent reviews so am hopeful we'll enjoy it.

It's good - I went with a friend and it was a perfect disaster type movie.

I enjoyed it. Dh didn't. He was being picky about airplane stuff. He had a point but I enjoyed the suspense. He didn't say anything until after the film.

That was decent of him! I run most films critiquing any kind of education related work, I should probably be nicer!

Yes we went to see this - very good I thought. But I can imagine if you are really into Action movies it might be a bit predictable. I'm not, so it was great.

The Vue are running up to 10 tickets for £38. til 1/3/23. We have seen a good range of films these past few weeks.

CuriousMama · 09/02/2023 14:02

That's a good deal for regular cinema goers @dadap

dadap · 09/02/2023 15:24

That's true - but for us we would like to go more often but the cost of tickets means we go very, very occasionally and usually films that we know will be very good. For this we have been able to watch a wide range and things I wouldn't usually consider but ended up enjoying - Plane for example! Or things I would wait to come on streaming.

I found that between 4 of us we have used them all in the last 3 weeks. There have been quite a few good films on and still are - so we may get another 10 as half term is coming up. And at £3.80 per tickets it's worked quite well.

Odeon do an Odeon Saver which is £8 rather than £18!

Really enjoyed this film. Love a bit of Gerard Butler. ❤️

ithoughtisawapuddycat · 11/02/2023 20:38

Love a bit of completely unrealistic action in a film. Gerard Butler normally equals a decent film. We really enjoyed this.

OneFrenchEgg · 11/02/2023 21:18

I've found my people. Love Butler in action. Also all the 'has fallen' films
