Saw this tonight and it was a lot of fun. Anyone else watched it?

Yep! Creepy in parts..bizzare and funny in others and also worrying in a way lol. This all could happen...hopefully without the murder part

Saw it yesterday - it was much better than I was expecting. I thought it would be "creepy robot doll goes mad with knife" but there was more to it than that. Still not wanting to get Alexa!

I do think that it says something about the ‘maternal instinct’ too and the expectation for it to be natural.

I enjoyed it, it was fun to watch.

We absolutely loved it - did what it said on the tin!

So much more enjoyable than Tár, which I expected to love, but it was almost three hours of boring, self-important drivel IMO.

I actually had a doll very similar called Poppet who talked. She had a cord and when you pulled it she said a few different phrases.

Really enjoyed it too.

I am glad there was more depth somewhat than I orginally thought expected it be,

, it wasn't just predictable what you expect to happen in horror psychological movies genre.

I think a lot of thought had gone into making the film, and it was believable in parts about the emotional struggles of becoming a step mother overnight ,adjusting to this being unexpectedly put into this role cause of unfairness of life, and the interactions between step mother and breaved step daughter
The dynamics between her co workers especially her boss was on point

Also I was Susprised how much better it was

Also intriguing idea concept of the implications on emotional human interactions of, if Megan Robort doll towards step daughter handling the grief process ect

I thought it was awful, yet I saw it through to the end

The trailer made it look like her mum bought her an evil doll - the end. It was way more interesting when I realised that it was going to to about her toy-developer aunt trying to replace herself and avoid responsibility.
