Corsage... anyone seen it?

I'm going away next week to Ambleside and in two minds about this? It's on at the Cinema there. A man called Otto is on too. I loved the book and swedish film A man called Ove so am reluctant to go to the latter. Plus watched Ove recently again.

Yes. Visually beautiful, lead actress was brilliant. But although I love period drama etc, this did really plod. I'm not sure I'd recommend it unless you're mad for topic/cast...

It starts off well, but gets very silly and is full of deliberate anachronisms which I found very annoying. I'm not sorry I saw it but I wouldn't recommend it.

I liked it, though it seemed quite historically inaccurate. Have enjoyed other films with Vicky Krieps in, worth seeing More than Ever when it comes out later this month.

I loved it. She gave a truly great performance. I was so caught up in it I missed a lot of the anachronisms so now I'll have to go and see it again.
