FettleOfKish · 04/12/2022 14:38

Really enjoyed it! I think Asa Butterfield is great.

Chamomileteaplease · 04/12/2022 14:39

Where can you find it?

Iamblossom · 04/12/2022 14:54

Ok so considering he arrived at her family home when it was already dark, and they then seemed to still have time to have a family meal of lasagna, do a pampering evening including jacuzzi, go to the pub, play Christmas games, watch a muppets Christmas carol AND wrap presents seems a tad far fetched, no?

Other than needing to deploy my sense of disbelief willingly and a lot, I did really enjoy it and it made me feel very Christmassy as I watched it in bed this morning with my hangover.

I can imagine them calling him gilet forever.

Yes, suspend all belief; it's a Christmas film.

Wasn't it over two nights? I thought they went back to the stations and the trains were suspended?

Ah yes maybe you are right, that does make a bit more sense.....

FettleOfKish · 04/12/2022 15:10

Lasagne was the first night, pub/pamper was Christmas Eve afternoon followed by games, and then Muppets Christmas Carol.

All seems legit Grin

WeDontNeedToTalkAboutJamie · 04/12/2022 15:15

I loved it. DS thought it needed more 'action'.

Proneu82 · 04/12/2022 15:18

Potentially film for tonight!

ok for 9 year old dd and 12 year old ds (not keen but always gets in to it!)

JaneJeffer · 04/12/2022 23:07

Loved it Xmas Grin

Proneu82 · 05/12/2022 08:55

We all agreed…

very underwhelming

Covetthee · 05/12/2022 11:13

It was enjoyable for what it was, definitely worth the festive watch.

I really enjoy the more ‘english’ xmas films.

my dad’s christmas date on prime is also a good one to watch

JaneJeffer · 05/12/2022 11:57

Natalie Gumede was great. I hadn't seen her since she was a very different type of character in Coronation Street.
