Has anyone seen this? I was looking for something to watch, saw this with Ann Dowd (Aunt Lydia Handmaid's Tale) so thought I'd give it a go.

Oh my fucking god. It's a true story apparently. I cannot believe how easily some of these people went along with it. I'm trying to not give anything away, but what were they thinking!!

It's a very good film but exceedingly horrible all at the same time. It makes you wonder at the gullibility (stupidity?) of humans. My skin was crawling for most of it.

I'm just glad a couple of people weren't taken in by it. I want to say "weren't stupid enough" but it seems to be a well known psychological thing.

I read up about it afterwards, the guy wasn't convicted for what he did, even though they thought he was responsible for loads of similar calls.

Wiki said 70 such scams in 30 states and they all stopped once he was charged, so that might indicate that he was responsible for them all.

No justice for the victims.
