Black panther 2 : wakanda forever

I'm looking forward to this when it comes out , but I'm trying not to get over hyped about it. I did think the 1st black panther was ok/average for a marvel film .but maybe because of the hype surrounding it got me to excited for it .

I think thor:love and thunder being such a let is going to be good for BP2 because the bar is extremely low after that film

Definitely going to have sadness around it too...from what's been said its meant to be really good whereas Thor wasn't well received when first shown for critics..and the mood was all over the place.

I absolutely loved Black Panther and I loved Chadwick.

I don't want to see BP2. I don't think they should have made it, it won't be right without him.

I’ve just got back from watching it. It was brilliant. So much better than Thor L&F.
Hardly any laughs, loads of emotion, good story. Chadwick was dealt with really sensitively, I was impressed.
Very much worth the extortionate cinema prices.
(oh and mid credits scene, but no post credits)

Literally just in the door from it too. It was amazing. Really enjoyed it & loved the Chadwick Boseman tribute.

I cried. DD is suitably embarrassed by me.

I'm watching it tomorrow. I've avoided any spoilers and plot hints . I'm not reading any articles.

I liked it but didn't love it (view shared by DH, DS and DSIL)...

And the mid-credits scene, while lovely in the moment, raises so many questions - including about major plot points earlier in the film!

Watched it yesterday, very sensitivity done around Chadwick and I think they have done him proud.
The silence out of respect (I mean people even stopped eating) at the marvel opening scene and the end where they showed memories of him was something I have never seen in a cinema before.
Story was good and the females were strong characters.
I enjoyed it was one of the better marvel films this year.

Yes. not only silence but no one moved the whole time the Marvel scene was showing and of course the memories. It was very moving.
I fully enjoyed it. Namor is a great adversary and (no spoiler just my speculation) I can see us making lots of room for a Doctor Doom showdown in phase 5.
My only criticism would have been that I was hoping for a nod to The Thunderbolts being assembled (mostly for Bucky and Red Guardian 😜)

If you watched right to the end of Love and Thunder, did you spend most of Wakanda Forever thinking, "But that's Hermes?" Cos I did but no one else in my family remembers his secret mission from Zeus.

That was Hercules that Zeus gave the mission to. He's a pretty great character in the comics. I'm looking forward to him in the next phase.

I watched to the end of Thor L&T, but Brett Goldstein didn't appear in Wakanda Forever did he???

It was actually Hercules in L&T. Oops.ignore my conspiracy theories!

I was in a boredom coma by the end of L + T

Watch it earlier. Good film ,better than the 1st one.
The couple of time referred to the white person a coloniser was a bit yawn .

There was an annoying crotch goblin who insisted of talking all the through it though.

Overall good film

It was ok. Wouldn’t watch it again. It was a bit slow, felt dragged out.

Liked it. The end scenes and the lead into thr Rhianna song...emotional!

The villain. .just seemed another Marvel guy for most. What liked about the first is Killmonger had a point really and a reason for what he wanted..whereas this. Meh the film was lovely in a way.
