Has anyone seen this? It sounds interesting but my local cinema has also said there is a scene which some viewers may find disturbing. 🤔 I've googled it so I know what they're referring to but just wondered how bad it is as I'm a bit squeamish!

I really wanted to see this at the London Film Festival but couldn't get a ticket for the screening I could get to - I've seen the trailer since and his thread has reminded me about it.

It's on near me over the weekend, so I might wander in; if I see it I'll post (although I'm not squeamish at all so might not be much help 😊)

If you do go, please come back and tell me what you thought!

I hope to go next week. Ruben Ostlund's two films I have seen were both excellent (Force Majeure and The Square).

I’ve seen it! It was strange but enjoyable. My dh was pmsl at the ‘scenes’ - if you know, you know. Was v darkly comic.

I just got back from watching it and really enjoyed it. A good 7.6574/10, I don’t think it’s everyone’s cup of tea as a few people walked out of the screening and didn’t return.

Very precise mark there @MovingOnUpp 👏 😄

Finally got to see it. No squeamish scenes I can recall, unless seasickness is an issue for you.

Very good film, loved Woody Harrelson as the ship captain. Lovely small details to notice, such as an unintelligent character reading or trying to read Ulysses.

Loved it. The scene is so OTT that it's funny rather than icky (well, it's both really). I love me a quirky film and this fit right in.

Haven't you learned to close your eyes during the squeamy parts?

That's the only way I can go to violent movies.
