Went to see Bullet Train tonight on a free ticket courtesy of O2. OMG I have not enjoyed a film so much for a long time. It was laugh out loud funny, sad in parts, action packed but not boringly so, great characters and plot twists galore. Would love to hear what anyone else thinks.

I really liked it but God it was so violent! Much more then I thought a 15 would be.

Thanks OP I was wondering about this. Plus I need to go somewhere with air con one night this week as my flat doesn't cool down! This is the only thing on!

It is pretty fun. Very educational Thomas the Tank Engine personality based escapism.

I liked it, but - like most films I see these days - could have done with being at least 20 minutes shorter and would have been better for it.

I too liked the Thomas references- there were some splendid moments, although it felt somewhat incoherent as a whole.

Saw yesterday I loved it. Loved the little surprise.
Never got the Brad Pitt love but loved him in this, great comic timing. Especially when he tied his hair back.
Also absolutely loved might have small crush on Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The suit the moustache.

Saw it tonight and loved it! We were laughing and I looked along our row and no one else was so I’m relieved to read that others found it funny 😆
I thought it was very like a Guy Richie film.

If you’re yet to see it, don’t leave as soon as the credits start, wait a minute or so 😉

I was wondering about it but went to see Maverick the other night as it wasn’t showing on a late show at Cineworld.

Definitely worth watching. It’s funny violence ,very fast paced.
I was reminded of the film The Gentleman.
Doesn’t take it’s self too seriously.

I wasn’t that keen, hated the Thomas the Tank references and felt some scenes dragged on.

Brad Pitt was fucking awful in all honesty.

Lemon was the best character

I was seriously worried for the first 20 min; I couldn’t hear e dialogue properly , and the film dragged. Then it suddenly picked up and got better and better!

Enjoyed it! Was a bit of escapism & I loved the Thomas bits. My DS was a big Thomas fan as a toddler so am familiar with all the engines 😆

I watched this last night, it was so good! The first film I've seen for a while that was just (extremely violent) fun. Brad Pitt has definitely got better with age. And I loved Tangerine and Lemon. I was particularly impressed with Lemon's London accent. There was the occasional teeny tiny slip back to American which made me appreciate it even more.
Fab film!

Agreed - found Brad a bit mumbly to start with but generally thought it was a good yarn.
