OK which film is going to win the Mumsnet film of 2007. We'll all vote

ATONEMENT

OP posts:
sophy · 16/01/2008 13:46

Atonement gets my vote too -- but it's probably the only non-kids film I saw in the cinema all year !!

xtc · 16/01/2008 13:48

The only non-childrens one I saw was 1408, think it's been a terrible year for films. Though our local flicks is rubbish.

Iklboo · 16/01/2008 13:49

Bourne Ultimatum for me (but I've not seen Atonement yet)

Carnival · 16/01/2008 13:52

Pan's Labyrinth for me. Mind you, I liked Ratatouille

Pan · 16/01/2008 20:01

Another vote for my dear, confusing labyrinth.

But really The Darjeeling Limited.

ZippiBabes · 16/01/2008 20:02

enchanted

janeite · 16/01/2008 20:09

I don't think I saw anything that wasn't a children's film I'm afraid - but I absolutely loved "Harry Potter".

emkana · 16/01/2008 20:10

Atonement

CoteDAzur · 16/01/2008 20:31

Best films of 2007:

The Number 23
Mr Brooks (Kevin Costner was fantastic)
Pan's Labyrinth
Blade Runner - The Final Cut

Runner-up:
Sunshine

Absolute worst movie of 2007:
Bug (although I love Ashley Judd)

Runner-up:
Transformers

I didn't watch Eastern Promises, Assassination of Jesse James, or Atonement. yet.

ZippiBabes · 16/01/2008 20:32

V For Vendetta

The Orphanage

southeastastra · 28/03/2008 20:25

1408 but prob be alone with that nomination

McDreamy · 28/03/2008 20:27

Stardust

newshmoo · 28/03/2008 20:32

I thought 1408 was a great little film, always liked the short story and didnt think it would be as good. John Cusack was a spot on choice as the cynical non-believer

Jazzicatz · 28/03/2008 20:34

American Gangster was pretty good I thought!

jellybeans · 29/03/2008 19:56

Bourne Ultimatum
Thought Atonement was v over rated
