Just dropped on Netflix so I’m watching as I really enjoyed the first one.

But why is he suddenly supernatural. In the first film, he was a real person communicating through a doll.

Now it’s like the doll is possessed. Confused

Obviously I’m currently watching now so there will probably be a big reveal towards the end. I’m just griping now

Yeahh I saw this and was a bit confused at how if had all suddenly changed.

Did like the first one though. Anything with a doll in is creepy enough. Was quite sweet how she started looking after it..even though turned out to be just a doll

Honestly loved the first haven't seen the second as heard it had changed. Let me know what you think when it's finished

Kanaloa · 28/02/2022 00:01

I haven’t seen it yet but loved the first one. However I see they’ve changed it so the doll is sort of sentient/like Annabelle type of thing. I thought the whole twist of the first one (which I really enjoyed) was that it subverts that expectation and in the end the doll is, in fact, just a doll.

Yeah don’t bother watching it.

The first was brilliant but the second was a major let down

Yeahhh. Think if the bloke had died in the end of the last one then least could say its his ghost or something but fairly sure he was odd fixing the dolls face..hmm
Kanaloa · 28/02/2022 18:32

Out of curiosity was that the case? Is the doll just possessed with no reference to the first movie? If so that’s pretty rubbish!

Soubriquet · 28/02/2022 19:13

Yeah in the first movie it wasn’t a possessed doll, it was the real Brahms

In the second movie no, apparently the doll is possessed, has always been possessed and it’s why Brahms turned doolally

Personally, I preferred the first option. Was a very weird wtf twist. The second ruined it
