Saw this today and had a lot more heart than I thought it would. Feel the trailer undersells its potential

I liked it too, as predictable as it was (I will watch anything with a lovely dog, though 😊). I have no idea who Channing Tatum is, but he seems OK.

I'm also hoping that with the likes of Dog at 101 minutes and Jackass Forever at 96 minutes we might be seeing the back of virtually every film showing being 2.5hrs+. I know some things need and deserve it, but a few choices for those who don't want or have time to be in the cinema for over three hours would be nice.

I'd say there's some exaggeration about the film lengths haha but I agree seems film's are 2hrs long when they need about 90 mins but with more Marvel, Avatar 2 etc I don't see it being mainstream but I do hope others are more mindful.

It was definitely predictable but I definitely came out feeling more warm and fuzzy than when I went in and was the right mood for what I needed today.

Honestly I feel the trailer undersells the movie. Having not seen much of Channing Tatum in a lot of films whilst there was definitely elements that lent on his nuscly physique I was surprised to see him nail the more emotional parts here in a way I don't see Ryan Reynolds achieving the same. Although I love Ryan Reynolds.

If you like dog film's whilst I'm probably preaching to the converted I really enjoyed call of the wild and the art of racing in the rain

Thanks for info, I think I'd like it :)

I'd recommend it not a blockbuster but a heartwarming film. A basic synopsis is: a medically discharged army ranger needs to get a troubled dog to its owners funeral.

If you were up for seeing it in the cinema i wouldn't wait as in my cinema it doesnt look like it'll last past this week

I'd recommend it too! A nicely made buddy/road film about PTSD, and I thought the supporting characters they met along the way were all very well drawn too. And there are some genuinely funny bits Smile.

I enjoyed it! Not a huge Channing fan but liked him in this. And like said not stupidly long! Saw the new Scream recently and that was nearly 2 hours..its Scream there's no complex plot so why it dragged on like that.
