Went to see today and it was as fabulously ridiculous as I hoped

Was trying to work out why it was a 12A though, as even the rating description at the start was milder than I've seen for some U rated films. I'm thinking it must be the nuns/priests/church musical number near the start??

Saw this tonight - it’s exactly what I needed after a long day, ie cheesy relaxed nonsensical fun not to be taken too seriously. But SPOILER ALERT as if the gorgeous millionaire pop star chooses the unattractive maths teacher with no personality or seemingly redeemable qualities. I also thought the kids were exceptionally annoying.

The guy who plays Bastian though 🤤

It was worth it for the amazing soundtrack though - I left the cinema and downloaded it to my iTunes library straight away and sang along to it on the way home!

Going to see it this weekend so will report back

I am really keen to see it as hoping for a madly ridiculous film! (Plus I really like Jlo in films).

Good to hear it is pretty family friendly though as I wish to take a 10 year old.

yeah - the musical number i mentioned is a bit but other than that fine i think, and features 12yos who are into maths so v wholesome in those sections!

It’s fantastic - I loved every minute of it.
And isn’t J Lo incredible?! Wish I looked like that at 32, let alone 52!

Saw this recently and I gotta say I enjoyed it a good romance film.

And in terms of why Owen Wilson over Bastion I'd say Wilson has a charm, besides he didn't cheat on J Lo and was supportive, a family man who cared about her and encouraged her to be more independent.

I absolutely loved it!
So cheesy and predictable but really good film
I loved all the cheesy songs in it too.

And as for J Lo ... Omg is there nothing she can't do! She's fab in this

I really enjoyed this film
