Sex in the city

So I never watched sex in the city, but I stumbled across and just like that and really enjoyed (I realise a lot of people didn't enjoy it) and now I've stated sex in the city but just found there are films and wondered where they fit into series? I realise I've watched it in a weird order already but if I can, I'd prefer to know where they come to try and watch in order.

I can absolutely see why people didn't like the new series after watching the old ones.

Can I just point out it's Sex And The City.
The city is the fifth character.
The series was great, though of its time, the first film was okish, the second film is possibly the worst film I have ever seen, and I watch Channel 5 films.

Kim Cattrell felt like she was given more and more extreme storylines and SJP got more powerful when she became the producer. Kim felt like SJP was pushing Samantha to do things that really she wouldnt and was not paid accordingly whereas SJP was paid handsomely and got to keep her clothes on. I really felt the loss of Sam but warmed to the other newbies by the end on And Just Like That. I hope they make a second season.

They weren't great, but I was interested in seeing where the story went. I was expecting an explanation for the Samantha thing.

Yes they certainly pushed her character. I can understand that. Thanks for explaining.

I vote for series. This is classics. I love this show too much.

I heard Kim Catrell and SJP hate each other.

Kim Cattrell found uttering the line, ‘Lawrence of my Labia’ while waving her legs in the air in the middle of the desert so totally degrading that she quit the show completely.

She does only does adverts for herbal tea and interviews with Piers Morgan these days.

It’s a shame because that wasn’t even the worst line they made her say (… and some of her puns had merit).

When Kim Cattrall suffered a family bereavement SJP commiserated with her on Twitter and was given short shrift. Kim said something like, “you are not my friend” and “stop exploiting our tragedy” leaving people in no doubt that the relationship was rotten.

I love sex and the city so much! Have watched the whole thing more than once. Defo series first then the films - they follow on from the story!
