I’m going tomorrow, so excited. I have heard great things.

iklboodolphrednosedpaindear · 17/12/2021 23:36

OMG OMG OMG!

StillRowing · 17/12/2021 23:40

Loved it! People literally cheered in the cinema at certain parts

OhPeeQueue · 17/12/2021 23:43

OMG. Just that…O.M.G.

The gasps and cheering when Andrew Garfield walked out…then Tobey Maguire!

It’s one of the best movies I’ve watched since Planet of the Apes reboot. I’m gonna go watch it again 🤣

OhPeeQueue · 17/12/2021 23:44

Also VENOM got missed out 😱😱😱

Our screening was the same. Cheering, gasping, clapping. So much fun.

You forgot about that 'really good lawyer'! The crowd went wild Grin Charlie Cox is so handsome. LOVED him catching the brick.

Rather sad ending though. Poor Peter. Funny how they skipped an origin film, went straight to big adventures, and now at the end he's not an Avenger or anything, just a friendly neighbourhood Spiderman.

Was amazing. I cried when Andrew Garfield caught MJ, so bittersweet because he couldn’t save his Gwen. 😭
Plus I am so excited for Dr Strange 2.

Spiderelf · 19/12/2021 17:43

I've just got home from seeing it! I loved it.

Unfortunately Aunt May's death got spoilt for me but the rest didn't.

Venom was an end credit scene.

MajorCarolDanvers · 19/12/2021 17:46

Loved it

sociallydistained · 19/12/2021 17:58

Ahhhh fan service at its finest! So exciting! Loved it all and the preview of Doctor Strange at the end credits was so exciting! I love Wanda! Don't care if she's a villain or not 😂

I cried at this too Blush
colourmebladd · 22/12/2021 08:35

It was fantastic. I nearly cried when Matt Murdoch appeared, I was NOT expecting that and was delighted. The 3 spidermen were great!

There was a group of teenage girls who literally screamed when AG appeared, it was like a pop concert. I’ve never enjoyed other people’s noise in the cinema so much, we were crying laughing. And they screamed again when he saved MJ.

And everyone clapped at the end 👏

Looking forward to Dr Strange and Wanda - who is NOT a villain.

Also love that Venom was there and has left a piece of himself…..

EllieSattler · 22/12/2021 19:04

I love how all the other bad guys went straight to attack Spiderman, but Eddie and Venom chilled out and had drinks by the beach.

Omg! I have just come back from seeing this!
It was everything! It made me so emotional. I properly started welling up at one point but I had to keep it in because my kids would have laughed at me and told everyone! 🤣

Kanaloa · 25/12/2021 02:47

I loved it! Had to tell my son before we went that he was about to be treated to the REAL Spider-Man.

Although (not to be pedantic) why would a piece of Venom be left behind? Everything was zapped back. Surely if Doc Oc had left an arm that wouldn’t just be lying there? So the piece of symbiote should surely also have been zapped back to their own universe with them even if it wasn’t attached. I mean the symbiote thing seems to be somewhat sentient even when torn away.

I loved when he says ‘not to brag but I was in the avengers’ and they are so excited with ‘wow AMAZING! What’s the Avengers?’

UnadulteratedCat · 25/12/2021 02:52

I got called a horrible person for posting a “spoiler” on a sewing fb page because I mentioned I had the same sewing machine as Spider-Man. I mentioned that as it was a straight stitch only machine I doubted it would work properly for amateur superhero spandex work.

I’m a horrible horrible person because I cracked up laughing 😂

But yes, the film was incredible and I loved every second. Seeing TH devastation at losing aunt May was so raw and difficult to see.

DulciUke · 25/12/2021 03:04

It was so much better than I thought it would be. Definitely worth the hype.

LadyCleathStuart · 29/12/2021 14:36

Just seen it - amazing! So, so sad though. When he goes to see MJ in the shop at the end.....it was too much for me!

superoz · 29/12/2021 20:48

I am so glad I managed to avoid any spoilers before watching the film. It was just so good and the OMG moments! Just brilliant.

Haven’t enjoyed watching a film this much at the cinema in ages.

PrincessScarlett · 01/01/2022 19:16

Just seen it. Very bitter sweet experience. Wept when Aunt May died. Tom Holland is really good at tugging on the heart strings. Just felt it was all a bit of a sad ending, but I'm guessing that it draws a line under Spiderman's affinity with the Avengers.

TragicMuse · 14/02/2022 19:01

I FINALLY managed to get to see it yesterday AND I avoided all the spoilers except for knowing that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were in it, but I didn't know how, or for how long.

I have ALL THE FEELINGS. Spidey all alone. MJ and Ned not knowing who he is. No Aunt May, no Stark-tech, no Dr Strange. What he's given up...

I'm a 56 yo woman, and man, I was a mess!

OrangePumpkinLobelia · 11/09/2022 07:05

We saw this yesterday and I LOVED it. When Tobey Maguire came on I was nudging the DCs and whispering 'It's MY spiderman!!'. I loved the chat between them when they were comparing experiences etc.

It was terrific fun but I was so sad at the end when everyone forgot Peter Parker. I felt quite bereft for him.

EllieSattler · 12/09/2022 09:22

I saw it in the cinema again last week. Its such a brilliant film. Poor Peter1.
