Storyline and casting - esp Jodie Comer - really appeals. But it's an 18 which is making me wonder how traumatic the violence, inc rape is...

Yeah I've seen it. I think I must have a problem as violence doesn't really bother me.

The rape is realistic so obviously traumatic but not really brutal. The violence is gory and close up at times.

I really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure about it from the trailer but I thought it was a good film which was entertaining and engaging while also saying a lot about the present day despite being set several hundred years ago.

I've seen it and it was really good. The rape scene was shown but not done in a really gratuitous way iykwim. And the fight scenes were gory in places but I just look looked away for a couple of bits...

I've seen it and didn't find the violence or the rape scenes particularly disturbing.

I thought it was excellent but pulled no punches. The violence was gory and in your face. The rape was realistic but not gratuitous.

I thought it was excellent - the rape scene is traumatic, of course, but not gratuitously detailed. You got a real sense of the physical and emotional hurt.

A medieval meetoo. Really enjoyed it. Agree with opinions above.
