Not actually sure what to make of this film. Most of it was bad, really bad. At least the first hour was cliched, badly acted, terrible script, boring to the point I was going to ditch it. Then in the last half hour it goes truly far out bonkers - things happen which are so preposterous (and borrows from a well known film) that I actually admired James Wan for going through with it.
I’m undecided whether it was so bad it was good, or mostly bad but redeemed by a totally over the top third act. Wonder whether it was made deliberately boring and dull for the most part for the twist at the end.
If you’ve seen it I’m intrigued to see what you think - if you can last until the end!
