Saxophone-heavy soundtracks, grey-blue colour palettes, moustaches and massive car phones with curly wires... I'm feeling a bit under the weather today and need some recommendations for lovely late-80s, early-90s movie recommendations.

I like father of the bride it's light and not too taxing 😄 I hated all that Harry met Sally you've got mail nonsense it was just bleurgh !

I'm not a massive fan of romcoms really but I absolutely love While You Were Sleeping. The chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman is sooo good.

I literally watched that last night, mainly because it takes place in my city. I was showing my 20-year-old what the city looked like in the early '90's. Her friend lives in the same street as the girl's apartment. Obviously, only the exteriors are Houston but it was fun enough for me to reminisce.

Daughter wasn't sure of the film when she realized Ethan Hawke looks somewhat like a much younger version of her uncle, my BIL.
