In the same way that many people sought out pandemic-themed movies during the covid lockdown, maybe some of you would like a suggestion to go with the Afghanistan fiasco.
"Osama" is a wonderful movie from 2003 about a desperate family - one girl in particular - under the Taliban. At the time, I think it was said to be the first feature film to come out of Afghanistan, and for all I know, maybe it's the only one. Highly recommend it.
