Mainly watching as I love Ewan McGregor but my God this is dire. I can't not finish it now though 😆

Why weren't the clones kept in a vegetative state? Why wake them up and have them living in the colony? Because they are working in the labs? But surely it's more work to keep them behaving well and feeding them and washing their clothes than the benefit they give as workers?

Weirdly I used to really like this film. Anyway, I believe they explain later on the film that they couldn't keep them vegetative because they died or something. All their clients are told their insurance policies are not conscious, but when they escape the cat is out of the bag so to speak which is why they need to kill them. Ahh the memories of this film

I loved this film. I think Ewan suited the part as he has this natural dumb, slightly wooden, childlike innocence about him. It’s why keano Reeves suited the part in the matrix as well despite being a terrible actor.
