I’ve just watched this film and it blew me away!

Anyone else seen it?

All the main actors are brilliant, especially Jodie Foster. It’s nice too see that at 58 years old, she appears to have not succumbed to facial surgery or Botox, and looks good for it, imo.

I’ve just read some reviews where it has been panned, which puzzles me. It ticks all my boxes because I enjoy anything which involves crime/politics/the US legal system.

What a shocker!! I can’t believe it’s seen as lawful by the American Gov to hold people for years and torture them. What a disgrace.

I found it really disturbing! Can’t believe that was allowed to happen and we only saw one case... brilliant film though

I've not seen it yet but want to. Years ago I read a book called Bad Men by Clive Stafford Smith which was quite the eye-opener. I thought I'd mention it here as some of you might also enjoy it.

My bf and I loved it. Excellent performances all round. Don't know why the film received so many decidedly mixed reviews! Defo a Must Watch.

I find it so boring and lost interest. Ended up googling the ending.

I loved this film

had to watch it over 2 nights, but it was great, really captivating. and i recognised the lead man Mo from The Serpent. also knew vaguely of atrocities at Guantanamo bay but not to that extent.

it was a true story, i guess the mixed reviews may have been a touchy subject.
