This extraordinarily classy film was made in 1985, and is being streamed on HBO Max, and various other channels.

A college professor goes to Reno during the 50s to get a divorce. She stays at a ranch/farm, and meets, and falls in love with the daughter of the ranch owner.

It is an amazing film for the low budget, and for being a first film for producer, Donna Deitch. It is wonderfully atmospheric, and has a great soundtrack.

I loved this when it first came out, so refreshing to see a film about lesbians that didn't end in tragedy or was shite.
Watched it again recently a d found it enjoyable still. Obviously not big budget but good stuff
