Really great - love the girls' friendships.

Yesss loved it!!! The main girls’ acting was fantastic - they were all brilliant. And I thought the boy playing Rocks’ little brother was so talented.

I know that this thread is quite old, but the film has just been suggested as a good film for a group of year 9s to watch - would it be a good choice for that age, or better for older children? Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I had checked the imdb and to be honest it didn't look amazing for 13/14 year olds as it seemed a really depressing story, lots of swear words, the heroine gets treated badly by many people. It is the sort of thing I'd quite happily watch and would enjoy watching but not sure of benefit for young teenagers. I thought I'd check with people who had seen it.
