Meaning of 23-19 Monsters Inc

I just read an article about a woman who has worked out what the 23-19 code means from Monsters Inc. and have to share it!!

When the monster comes back from scaring a child he has a white sock stuck to his back and that’s when they all shout, “We have a 23-19!l

23rd letter of the alphabet is W
19th letter of the alphabet is S

WS = White Sock

What!?

I don't think that can be right, they also use 23-19 later in the film when all the stuff from Boo's room falls out of the locker.

I had to google this. There are white socks with all the 23-19’s!! I never knew this!
