We've had the first 3 films for a while and I thought they were quite childish (in a good, innocent way) but we bought the 4th one yesterday and it seemed different to the others, more grown up...

Ron Swore for a start and then there was Mrytles reference to Harry being a "bad boy" whilst he was in the bath looking at the mermaid picture!! (thankfully it went over the kids heads!).

Is it just me or do the films get more grown up? I was thinking of buying Order of The Pheonix for my 6 year old but am starting to wonder if it might be a bit too grown up for him...

(no spoilers please, I'm half way through the 5th book!

depends on your 6 yo but its very dark. (OOTP that is) and quite scary in parts for a young child
