Has anyone seen this?
It was on BBC at the weekend and it's on iplayer.
There are comments on the internet that it's really true to life and it was made by an ex Jehovah's witness.
I mean I know Jehovah's witnesses have bad reputations and everything but I didn't actually know it was like this.
Quite a quiet and intense film
Worth a watch

I'd be interested to know if anyone's had any experience of this like in the film

Hi, I have experience as an exJW and have watched the film. It's 99% accurate. The scene with the baby at the end was perhaps over exaggerated but not wholly unlikely. I had to remind myself that it was a film and not a documentary, especially the parts in a Kingdom Hall. The portrayal of Alex is sadly very true to life.
