Has anyone else seen it?
I watched last night and really enjoyed. Penelope Cruz is wondeful. Although I'm a little perturbed at the thought of her having some kind of thang with BONO for pity's sake.

I saw this a while ago and really liked it. 'All About my mother' is still my favourite Almodovar film though. Penelope Cruz is great in that, too. I love how he can take a tragic situation as a start-point and make something really life-affirming come out of it. (Life-affirming sounds really cheesy but I can't think of a better way to put it. And he does it without ever being cheesy.)

excellent film. really well cast and fab story too.

totally agree mybabysin. They are proper stories. Also you care about the characters so quickly, it seems so effortless somehow.
P Cruz is just wonderful. But not so wonderful when acting in English - her English just isn't good enough imo. And Vanilla Sky - that is my idea of a Room 101 film.
