Okay, not really but a bit. Knives Out on Prime. Whodunnit with Christopher Plummer, Chris Evans, Toni Collett and Jamie Lee Curtis. Watched it last night knowing nothing about it and it’s great!

Saw it at the cinema a while ago. Really enjoyed it too.

Milicentbystander72 · 23/08/2020 12:48

Yep. We enjoyed it as a family film with the teens.

ExtremelyBoldSquirrels · 23/08/2020 12:55

DH and I saw it in the cinema and really enjoyed it too.

LunaNorth · 23/08/2020 12:56

I liked it but I could have done without all the puke.

quarentini · 23/08/2020 14:19

I thought it was a great film. Very amusing

Same. Cringing just remembering it.

It was alright. Watched it to the end but wasn’t desperate to finish it tbh. Daniels accent was a bit amateurish!

Hullo · 23/08/2020 19:59

I did find Daniel Craig annoying with the 'accent' but eventually took it as comical and started ignoring it.

THE WORDS BELOW MIGHT BE A SPOILER FOR SOME. SO SPOILER ALERT!

The highlight, though, was when Chris Evans basically told him to 'shut up with the stupid accent' in a 'last rant before I'm whisked off to prison' sort of way. That gave me great satisfaction and I found it hilarious too.

Great film to watch with young teens - enjoyed it

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 25/08/2020 12:44

I didn’t realise how successful the film had been. They are making a second one.

IveSeenThings · 25/08/2020 12:51

I quite enjoyed it and thought many of the actors were fantastic- such dislikeable characters!
That Kentucky accent though. Just why? Why would a Kentucky detective be consulting in NY?

Okbutnotgreat · 25/08/2020 14:08

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Thought Daniel Craig was channelling his inner Hercule Poirot very tongue in cheek.

iwantmyownicecreamvan · 25/08/2020 14:14

A second one! Good-oh!

Redcrayons · 25/08/2020 14:16

I really enjoyed it. Bit quirky and I didn’t guess the ending.

Daniel Craig’s accent, though is totally bizarre.

AnneLovesGilbert · 25/08/2020 21:45

They were brilliantly dislikable Grin

I wasn’t sure where it was going when you saw the backstory with the reveal but it went a lot of places that I enjoyed.

Loved the house too.
