angeliz its always bugged me but i thought she was really badly cast (the bird in top gun) - they look awkward together - he would never go for someone like her - he was much better suited to the girl in cocktail

"I'd almost forgotten what it feels like, handling a lobster"

From near the end of Passport to Pimlico, which has for some reason stuck in my mind.

Also "Ok, singing Hitlers over here ? dancing Hitlers that way" (or something like that) from The Producers.

Always makes me laugh, but I guess you had to be there

sorry

KateandtheGirls · 13/10/2004 15:08

acnebride. Actually, I've never seen JFK.

acnebride · 13/10/2004 15:11

fabulous film if you discount the plot entirely. the acting is just amazing and funny. but you presumably get lots of lovely floridian accents all the time so are not so desperate for louisiana vowels

Oo! popsy! can't let that go - it was supposed to be Lancashire! (Whistle Down the Wind - filmed about 4 miles from here - I know some people who were kids in it!)

I can never remember quotes until I'm watching the thing again. However I do remember "mama always told me, if you cain't say sumthin' nice, don't say anything at all" - Thumper (and I've probably got that all wrong!).

Bambi must be the first film I remember seeing and I've been losing brain cells ever since...

I like the line in Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe in response to "I'm younger and faster" - "well honey I am older and I have more insurance!" - very empowering moment!

alexsmum · 13/10/2004 17:41

" I dreamt about you last night..I fell out of bed twice"- from a taste of honey.
