Just watched this, very enjoyable and quite realistic, I thought.

I really enjoyed it but it was an emotional rollercoaster - haven't cried so much at the cinema for ages! Lots of laughter too though Smile

Yep, it was a tough watch at times.

I loved it. Had to go on my own as I cry at anything. Any other recommendations?

hardheadedwoman · 09/03/2020 12:56

I thought it was great - only flaw was the women whose husband died only seemed upset for a couple of days which was a bit unrealistic!

ShowOfHands · 09/03/2020 12:59

I went to see it with MIL (her choice). It's really not my cup of tea at all and I found some of it quite unrealistic but I did laugh at a few bits and Kristin Scott Thomas is always strikingly good at what she does.

The Welsh solo singer seemed v oddly dubbed unless it was the sound at our cinema.

Amazing, so emotional. It’s knowing the realness of it as well. Groups singing gets me at the best of times. You don’t want to see the state I was in after my recent Les Mis excursion. 😭

Just back from this, really enjoyed it.

Much respect to any forces families out there.

Really enjoyed it too. Don’t think I’ve cried so many times in a film.

MadisonAvenue · 11/03/2020 23:45

I'm just back from seeing it, I really enjoyed it. I didn't actually cry but felt close to it a few times.
