anyone else seen this yet?

it was very scary for the first hour

I read a review, so hesitated to look at this thread in case of a spoiler... it sounds good on paper, though I am a wimp and don't like scary movies....

but you know after a film, you want to discuss it

Anyone else seen this? I don't go to the cinema much, but I liked the look of this one.

Is it scary in a gory way or is it more psychological?

I get more scared by what I can't see than what I can iyswim

Most of the reviews that I've read say that the trailers are far scarier than the film. I'm tempted to see it because I like the actors, but I'm really not very keen on horror movies.

I want to get dh to go. It's supposed to be about someone who is totally sceptical about hauntings. That sounds just like dh .

it is more psychological, starts out fab, makes you jump. the rest sort of meanders a bit

yeah its more psychological. nothing gory, u don't see any evil monsters or anything. i was v sceptical at first, like cusack's character, but it scared me shitless.

I watched it, it was gripping and tense, but I thought it didn't really seem to be worth being a full length movie, iyswim?

yes mrsjc he is as lovely as ever.

It's not gory at all. It was quite good and tense in places.

i'm waiting for the dvd release. i blame this movie for the start of my 2 weeks of lusting after john cusack. it hasn't been nice! this constant longing you know.
