We watched Fishermans Friends last night and loved it, can anybody recommend similar films that we might like please?

Boy - it's a Taika Waititi film. Really enjoyed it. Stick around for the mid credits seen if you watch it.

Song of the Sea- it's an animated film, ostensibly for children, but don't let that fool you- it's utterly charming and both DH and I wept buckets at it.

@iklboo I can't believe I've not heard of Boy before, it looks like just my kind of film so I've bought it - thank you.

Shooting Fish looks good, it's on my watch list now with Shooting Fish and Handsome Devil. I'm not so sure about Song of the Sea, it does look good but not quite my thing but have put it on the watch list in case.
