My three year old is obsessed with dinosaurs. Will only wear dinosaur clothes, plays with dinosaurs, can name about 10-12 different ones but we've ran out of appropriate dinosaur films tv shows. Can anybody recommend any that are appropriate.

Land Before Time, my boys loved them when they were tiny and there are loads of them - should keep him going for a while!

Pinkblueberry · 21/11/2019 09:08

What have you already watched?

poorlymatchedsocks · 21/11/2019 10:22

@Pinkblueberry everything on Netflix including the educational ones, the good dinosaur, toy story because of the dinosaur, the land before time, dinotrux, ice age repeatedly, dinosaur the film, the one where the dinosaur is a pet. I think that's it

Andy’s dinosaur adventures? And Andy’s prehistoric adventures. On CBeebies on bbc iplayer. My DS is obsessed with those.

Phuquocdreams · 21/11/2019 10:27

Gigantosaurus on Sky.

JellyBook · 21/11/2019 19:18

Dinosaur King - but be warned it’s a bit Pokemon but with dinosaurs, so possibly a bit old for him and annoying for you!

jillandhersprite · 21/11/2019 19:23

My 3 year old loves the Jurassic park and Jurassic world films. I thought they would be too scary or grown up but she doesn't register the adult themes in them at all and just loves seeing the dinosaurs - that are real! Not like a cartoon but walking around in real life!!! What's trickier is explaining that it's a film and there aren't real love Fe parts we can go visit!!!

Dino time on amazon prime

butterry · 21/11/2019 19:29

Land before time, there are box sets of them. Must be at least 15! On Amazon there’s Dino Dana or Dino Dan

iklboo · 21/11/2019 19:29

Is Harry & His Bucketful of Dinosaurs on anywhere?

ManualFlusherSnot · 21/11/2019 19:38

What about documentaries like walking with dinosaurs or Attenborough and the giant dinosaur?
My DS loved all the documentaries.

There’s one just called Dinosaur - I think it’s Disney possibly - but it’s live action-ish. It’s about an iguanodon that ends up being raised by lemurs and then has to save them from a meteor.

There’s also another good one about some children who travel back in time. It’s got a pink dinosaur in it and we never called it by it’s name - just “the pink dinosaur film”.

Ds is 7 now and is still as dinosaur crazy as he was when he was two.

GorgeousLadyofWrestling · 21/12/2019 20:43

Dinosaur: m.imdb.com/title/tt0130623/

Dino time (the pink dinosaur one): m.imdb.com/title/tt1321862/

And there’s one called Walking With Dinosaurs, which isn’t anything to do with the TV series, but a fully independent story/ film: m.imdb.com/title/tt1762399/

cookielove · 21/12/2019 21:05

PreschoolYes · 21/12/2019 21:11

The Good Dinosaur

Shmithecat2 · 21/12/2019 21:13

Dino Dana on Amazon.
Dino Trucks, Dinosaur Kings, Walking with Dinosaurs, Lego Jurassic thing all on Netflix.
On YouTube, there's a couple of channels - one is called Toy Lab TV. It's a father and son duo, its pretty cool. Lots of dinosaur adventures. The other is called Toy Pals TV. It's basically some bloke reviewing lots of dino toys, but its pretty good fun.

Bestmummybunny · 28/01/2020 11:53

I don't know if it is still available as it's been a while since ds watched it but there was a show hel oved on cebebees called Harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs. Is older but it's educational and also age appropriate.

00Sassy · 28/01/2020 11:56

Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures! My equally dinosaur crazy 3yo ds absolutely loves it 🦖

HappydaysArehere · 10/02/2020 10:30

Bet you can’t wait to take him to the Natural History museum. Who doesn’t love dinosaurs? What about Megs Eggs?
