the girls watched about 20 mins and switched it off and went out to play so can't be that good.

How did you switch it off at the cinema?

We went, they were bored, I liked (well Jeff Bridges' voice mainly) but they said they enjoyed it.

got it on dvd about 2 weeks ago, can't take dd2 to the cinema so it's the only way dd1 gets to see films

My 6yo said it was better than Happy Feet. Luckily I was spared the pleasure.

I thought it was really funny and entertaining, I took two six year old boys and they loved it too. Excellent. Much better than Happy Feet imo (Happy Feet too long). Surf's up funnier and had Jeff 'sigh' Bridges.

I thought it was terrible. We didn't make it to the end, dd was v v bored. Great animation but there are only so many times you can go oooh at the water glistening on a penguin's back.

Having been on Welsh beaches this week I think body boards (is that what they're called? ) look quite good fun. And you can wear a full-length wetsuit = bonus. Problem is I can't swim though...but kids love it.
