Just saw it at Cineworld secret screening

Really enjoyed it - well worth seeing. A much better music based film than Yesterday which was just average in comparison. It's based in 1987 and it does help if you remember that time, but my DD enjoyed it too.

I loved Blinded By the Light too although I also enjoyed Yesterday more than you seem to have. I loved the 80s soundtrack and got very over excited at the sight of a Prestige Pressure Cooker & the girl in the record shop who was wearing a top I used to have in the 80s! 😂

@funmummy48 - you know when he went to HMV to buy the concert tickets, was that how we bought them then? I went to see Bruce in 1985 and I can't for the life me remember how I got tickets!

I think they must have been on sale in music shops as there was no internet. I was a bit surprised by that too as I think my memory has been wiped of pre-internet days! 😂

Well I remember queueing round the block when the latest film came out and not always getting in, so getting the bus back home. I think I prefer the booking online we’ve got now! 😂😂

I worked security at Wembley when he played there in 1985. Remember how on July 4th he walked on stage with his guitar and played am acoustic version of "Independence Day". Good times!

Looking forward to this film, as lived very near Luton, and was a teenager at the time it is set.

Saw it yesterday and loved it! Helped that I also was 17 in 1987 so it's basically the soundtrack to my teenage years. I thought it was very well done.

Really enjoyed it, obviously helps if you're a Bruce fan.
