Saw it last night at Unlimited preview screening

I’m not really into superhero films, but this was excellent!

Can’t wait to see this one! Read loads of great reviews.

We loved it too!

MouseRatFan · 08/04/2019 08:55

It was so good! Funny, heartwarming, the right amount of action and so many dc Easter eggs.
I was thinking of taking my dc to see it, glad I didn't as there were a few scary scenes.

I loved Zack Levi in Chuck so excited to see it, although with a newborn might be waiting for it to come out on DVD!

Dithering about taking DD9 and DS11 to it. DS and I really want to see it. Checked IMDB parents rating and doesn’t seem too bad. DD9 has seen all the Guardians of Galaxy and Avengers films plus all Star Wars (not necessarily by choice but she doesn’t mind them). Would you take a 9 yr old?

scrawnybutscrumptious · 08/04/2019 15:36

I would take a 9 year old. My ten year old loved it. There is a gruesome part in an office. My ds closed his eyes at that part

We loved it! Though DH kept calling it "shamazz"..Grin

I loved it, and my mum went to see it today on my recommendation and loved it too.

Me too - mine are 12 and 14 and would have been fine with it, but there was a dad with two little ones (4/5 yo) and the whole foods at through they were chatting and saying things like “it’s a bit too scary for us, I don’t think we should be here, shall we just leave, I don’t like it” and he just kept saying “it’s fine, don’t worry about it”. Dad of the year!

Comefromaway · 08/04/2019 15:43

Dd (17) & dh went to see it after they saw it advertised when they went to watch Captain Marvel.

NotFatTransslender · 08/04/2019 15:45

I don’t think I’d take a 9/10 yo unless they have already seen some gory stuff. The monsters are pretty scary and there are some gruesome scenes.

Given that is a 12a I’d say 12 is about the right age, but tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if my 12 yo DD had nightmares if she watched it. I found it more scary than the Stephen King film I watched the night before!

the whole foods at through wtf autocorrect you bellend - I meant “the whole way through” !!
