Nice uncomplicated wartime love story.
I enjoyed it.

I’m going to see this on my own on Saturday.

I'm going to see it this week too and probably on my own.

I went to see it on my own today, I absolutely loved it!

I enjoyed it (I also went on my own fwiw). It is an aspect of WW2 that I haven't seen dramatised before, and was interesting and thought-provoking for that. The love story was perhaps a stretch. I liked the mirroring of the aftermaths, the aftermath of the war and of the personal losses.

I saw it with my 16 year old daughter. We both loved it but she cried for ages after. Very emotional, very, very tragic. A good reminder that no one really wins in a war. Everyone was so damaged but i had never given much thought to how it must have been for Germans in Germany after the war. Or even how the different nations managed to come to terms with their losses. I though Lewis was a wonderful character.

Loved it. Went with my husband. It wasnt his cup of tea.

It really made me think- I never thought of Germany in the immediate aftermath of the war. I thought it was very good.
