If anyone has seen it, do you think a (not very mature) 12 year old would like it? It's quite long isn't it?

It's a good film, a bit unsubtle about the racism, but if the 12 year old is interested in "issues" I think they would like it. There's some humour in it too.

Just watched this today it is a lovely film about prejudice and friendship.

Times were different and a few scenes make uncomfortable watching.

But anything with Viggo Mortensen is going to be good (his eating is rather 🤮 though)

Many people recommend me to watch this movie, but I still can not find the time to watch it. It is said that he changes his view of friendship.

Great film and I think a 12 year old would only benefit from the important message it sends out.
