did anyone else watch this last night? Such an interesting film, I really felt that I learnt something (even though I couldn't understand what they were saying sometimes)

Thank you for that, I’ve been dying to see this, and didnt know it was on last night. I’ve just downloaded it. Really interested to watch it.

Just watched about half of it before going out to lunch. I’ll need to rewatch to understand it properly Grin

yes, me too. It's useful to read about the film on Wikipedia, as it helps to explain things. I find it incredibly frustrating how much mumbling goes on BUT it's still so interesting, and horrifying. And funny.

The crash happened when DD was a newborn and I remember pouring over the business pages during night feeds. There was a brief period I understood it all. Hopefully it'll come back to me during the movie Hmm.

Love this film (did take two watchings to fully understand it though Blush). The postscript is depressing though, isn't it?

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 16/12/2018 21:46

One of my favourite films of recent years - a depressing conclusion mind you.

I love The Big Short. I watched it a while back when it came out and just had a rewatch a couple of weeks ago

I'm looking forward to seeing Vice also by Adam Mckay due for release on December 24th
