Seen all the 70's 80's classics but prefer something more psychological rather than blood and gore? Any ideas as would prefer something more recent! Thanks

Get Out is excellent! I also enjoyed Ghost Stories.

If you like classics, a 1940s black and white film called "Dead of Night" is an anthology of different people's stories told at a house party. The last story involving a ventroliquist dummy scared the life out of me.

The Others? Fantastic film

The first Paranormal Activity film is very good, no blood or guts just an increasingly sense of fear. The rest are absolute bobbins though, don’t bother with them.

If you have Netflix Creep and Creep 2 are psychological horror. They’re both virtually two handers and rely on a truly unsettling central performance. There’s a bit of violence but it’s minimal and quick.

The Borderlands, which might still be on iPlayer at the moment is a low budget gem. Again it’s high on atmosphere but low on gore.

We watched Don't Breathe on Netflix the other night and I quite enjoyed it!

Signs is a great film and has a great cast of actors. More suspense than gore. Most recent horror I would recommend would be A Quiet Place.... loved it! It send you on a rollercoaster of emotions.
