Alright for time to kill, not as lighthearted as other marvel films. Its not a film you should rush to see IMO felt a bit rushed.

Is a 15 cert too, rathe rthan the usual Marvel 12A

I found it quite enjoyable but wouldn't recommend it. Not a patch on Ant Man 2! Tom Hardy was good as ever but the script was awful and the story didn't make sense in parts. It was hard to differentiate between the two aliens in the final battle. Jumpy editing too.

Yeah the final battle was a let down wasnt sure if it was because we saw it in 3d though, which also left lacking in comparison to, as you mentioned it ant man 2. Not seen Tom Hardy in much but i wasnt that impressed. Sounds bad but the way he spoke wasnt for me.

I'm seeing this in IMAX on Sunday and I cannot wait but I am a massive TH fan so I will love it anyway

I saw it today; but spent too much time focusing on the botox the girlfriend had had, she could barely move her face, so I didn't take in much of the plot.

I was fascinated by her terrible wig!

It had potential but the plot was clunky and things happened that didn’t make sense. Such as getting a serious argumentative reporter to do a fluff piece on spaceships. But I know it was for the plot 😂

Went to see it today with dh and our two teenagers. Thought it was excellent. Funny, great action and Tom Hardy was excellent. Starting to really wonder what is wrong with reviewers (dd thinks that Disney has been buying people off, but I'm not a conspiracy theorist so I'm sure there is a more boring reason). We were not sure about seeing it until dh reminded me of how totally we disagreed with the critic consensus on the last Star Wars. Glad we thought 'fuck it' :)

Also loved Ant Man and the Wasp, which is a totally different kind of a movie, plus made by a different studio (Venom is a Sony production),
