I know what you mean twiglett, the first was great but once the concept of the Matrix was out there there didn't seem to be any story left to tell. If you like battle scenes the one in Matrix III is pretty good, but it has an incredibly long and boring build up.

Twiglett, 24 is fantastic. If you like it (and you may not) you will want to watch the next and the next and the next... Thought Matrix 3 was pants. Ish. 2 annoyed me more though with the To Be Continued at the end. Grrrr!

Twiglett, you shouldn't be disapointed by 24 - it's ace! Dh and I are just waiting for season 3 to arrive via our screenselect on line rental. Watching our way through season 2 Alias meantime. We loved the first Matrix film and found the second two ok - I think the main problem is the first film was so origenal and, new in it's special effects that there wasn't going to be much topping it with sequels that would follow a similar format but with no new effects/ideas. Enjoy 24!
