Show dogs and 'grooming' theme?

I think we saw a trailer for this film a while ago (not big cinema goers) and I thought it looked fun. However, having since read this review, I won't be taking my children to see it.
I wondered if anyone has seen it or heard anything about it? And how on earth did it get through censorship?

Good lord, that's such a misjudged plot.
Glad my kids are too old for this movie and wouldn't be susceptible to the message on a sub conscious level.
