I wouldn't recommend this. The cast is excellent, some of Britain's finest, but it's all rather predictable & dull. Seriously, don't bother....

I saw it today and I disagree. The audience laughed and at the end I saw a few ladies wiping the tears away, maybe a little predictable but who doesn't love a feel good movie.

Yes there was a woman laughing hysterically nearby when I saw it but I didn't so much as smile once myself!

Perhaps you were having a bad day 😀😉

Yes maybe! I expected to enjoy it because I have loved Imelda Staunton & Timothy Spall in other things (eg "Vera Drake" and "Mr Turner" respectively) and admire them both very much. Also I have seen many very good films in the last month or so and this is certainly the least interesting. It wasn't bad - it was just instantly forgettable.

I liked it.

Feliciaxxx · 22/03/2018 01:48

I was looking forward to it but found it a tad dull and 'clunky'. As a bonus though, it meant I wasn't engaged enough to blub in the sad parts, thereby preserving my dignity!

I loved this film. I would recommend it.

I thought it was really poor and even imelda Staunton couldn't save it!

Really disappointed as the trailer made it look so good!

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 25/03/2018 10:57

The cast saved it. Very predictable but ok. I wouldn't have bothered with it but have a cinema membership.
