Wow - go see it, go see it, utterly fabulous.

Given the subject matter I wasn’t expecting to be so thoroughly entertained.

I don’t want to give much away, but is has some incredible acting and a truly surprising few plot twists.

Enjoyed it - some outstanding acting, but did think it got a bit unbelievable towards the end.

Tried to watch it. All the swearing got on my nerves. Story was too slow. Gave up and had a little sleep. I hated Fargo too.

RoadToRivendell · 05/03/2018 08:03

I didn't like it, and don't understand the hype.

RoadToRivendell · 05/03/2018 08:05

I hated how rude she was to the priest, didn't find her character at all relatable, and thought a lot of the dialogue was far too swaggering.

earlofhell · 05/03/2018 08:11

i didnt like it at all . bad casting. trying to be clever. good acting though.

mollied · 05/03/2018 16:49

Can't wait to see it saw the trailer a while back and haven't had a chance to go yet is on my to do list though!

Horsemad · 05/03/2018 18:31

Yeaaay, Oscar Winners!

ImNotWhoYouThinkIAmOhNo · 05/03/2018 22:55

I found it absorbing. First time in ages that a cinema audience has been so quiet, just concentrating on what was on the screen.

Horsemad · 05/03/2018 22:58

I want to see it again and I NEVER see a film more than once!

notacooldad · 11/03/2018 08:30

i thought it was good but not brilliant and didn't deserve all the hype.
The acting was good but. The plot became ridiculous during the second half of the film.

busyboysmum · 11/03/2018 17:43

I loved it. It moved me. Did think WH's wife too young though. Would have preferred a more mature less pretty actor.

BoiledFrog · 21/08/2018 02:16

I thought it was underwhelming, not moving or engaging nor funny, think I must be missing something. None of the characters rang true or were particularly believable.

Why would she feck off with 180 cop dude at the end and leave behind her son? Why would cop have a personality transplant after 1 letter? Pile o shite.

Bowbridge · 19/07/2020 16:38

I watched this film last night and loved it. So much of it was relevant to BLM and the me too campaigns. It was better with the subtitles on so I could make out what was being said in every scene.

WhentheDealGoesDown · 21/07/2020 07:46

Watched this on Saturday and thought it was really good, it was on channel 4 so it looks like it is 4 on demand at the moment if anyone wants to watch it

Bassarid · 13/09/2020 03:12

I think this is a wonderful film

Doingtheboxerbeat · 14/10/2020 22:49

Sam Rockwell and Francis Mcdormand can do no wrong in my eyes. I have only just seen this and it's just brilliant .

nosswith · 15/10/2020 18:32

Saw it on Channel 4. Understood why it was so highly rated.
