Best way/website to download films

I want to put a few kids film on an Amazon Fire tablet. I don't really wNt to subscribe to something ongoing, but I'm happy to pay for the films iykwim. Which website is best/cheapest/ easiest? I'm in the dark ages with technology so talk to me using words of one syllable please!

Tbh I think all the websites are expensive- it's ridiculous how much you have to pay for a digital download! Often more than an actual DVD.

I assume you don't have Amazon Prime?

No I don't glow but I'm thinking I might sign up as it doesn't seem too pricey....although I didn't really wAnt to commit to anything! I think there's a 30 day free trial, which might be the way to go.
I just can't see myself using it much really; I just want a couple of films on the tablet to get me through a long trip with the kids.

Amazon Prime membership gives you access to music and Prime delivery also, so it is very good value if you use Amazon anyway. Plus you can download films to watch offline as well.
