I honestly feel like I’m the only person to have watched this film and only remember little bits of this.
It’s set just before the First World War, there’s a young man and he works at a posh house, a little girl falls in love with him only to find her sister and him kissing in a library. She says he raped her sister (I think) and he gets took to prison. I then have a complete blank space and all I remmeber is that the sister died in an air aid shelter surrounded by loads of people, in an underground station or something and the little girl blames herself.
