Yes I fancy it. Where do you live? Grin I am old enough to have seen it first time around too!

JaneEyre70 · 27/09/2017 21:53

The original was such a clever film, it lingered in my head for days after. After seeing some truly awful remakes like Footloose, Dirty Dancing - I'm kind of scared though to try another................

FeedMeAndTellMeImPretty · 27/09/2017 21:53

yes I don't remember the original being quite so disturbing. Can't wait to watch it!

AlternativeTentacle · 27/09/2017 21:57

James Norton. Interesting.

SummerRayne17 · 27/09/2017 22:01

The original one was good, I didn’t even know there was a remake happening. Might give that a whirl! Thanks for sharing the trailer :)

MusicToMyEars800 · 27/09/2017 22:44

Nooooooooooo, they remade flat liners.

MusicToMyEars800 · 27/09/2017 22:48

Think I have to go and look up the original, I can't believe I didn't know that it was a remake.

God I remember the original from my childhood! Scared the proverbial out of me.

Might have to take dd (15) to see it this weekend Grin

ShizzleYoDrizzle · 27/09/2017 22:50

Wow, they're really scraping the barrel when they re-makes that old nonsense.

'Red alert. Crash team needed for Hollywood. They've run critically low on fresh ideas'.

MadisonAvenue · 27/09/2017 22:51

Saw the trailer when we saw "It". I commented to my husband that it looked like someone had ripped off the storyline of Flatliners, and then the title came up at the end of the trailer.

Not sure why it needs a remake. The original was good.

BikeRunSki · 27/09/2017 22:57

I loved the original. Not sure I'll see the remake, for that reason alone.

SummerRayne17 · 28/09/2017 02:05

Yeah, Julia Roberts and Keifer Sutherland were in the original film. It was pretty freaky tbh, disturbing. Lol

NikiBabe · 29/09/2017 19:14

Just saw it.

Really enjoyed it. Very creepy and liked Kiefer Sutherland having a role in it.

MusicToMyEars800 · 30/09/2017 12:01

It does look good and I haven't seen the original so might just have to watch both Grin
Thanks for the feedback NikiBabe

I saw the original, didn't realise they'd remade it. Now I feel old Confused

Welldoneme · 01/10/2017 17:41

Scary film, seen it last night.
I never watched the original x

OwlBeBack · 01/10/2017 18:13

I hated it!! Not a patch on the original. Some really bad acting and quite boring.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 01/10/2017 18:19

I’d definitely like to see this. May need to plan a trip for next weekend.

NikiBabe · 01/10/2017 22:22

The original flatliners was quite boring too imo.

This new one was more realistic in that the characters exercised more caution. They only did it once, one didnt do it at all and only one of them went back under.

In flatliners original I remember them turning it into a bit of a competition seeing who stay dead the longest and they did it more than once. In the new flatliners they did it in a proper medical facility whereas in 1990 flatliners they did it in and abandoned building and they had a power cut whilst trying to resuscitate someone. Medical students should have had more sense and in the second one they were not as reckless which was more believable imo.

Mummsye · 18/10/2017 06:54

I love the trailer, I will recommend this to my friends so that we can watch it this weekend.
