No but love it. And dangerous liaisons which it's based on.

MusicToMyEars800 · 24/08/2017 21:13

Me too, it is a brilliant film, I always feel sad that Sebastian dies Sad

Fab soundtrack too!

StealthPolarBear · 24/08/2017 21:15

Love it. "killer legs and I'd love to photograph them" is a catchphrase in this house.

MusicToMyEars800 · 24/08/2017 21:15

Butter Too right, I love the soundtrack and love that there's a bit of Skunk Anansie in the film too.

scrivette · 24/08/2017 21:22

Ohh this is one of my favourites but I haven't seen it for years!

shakeyourcaboose · 24/08/2017 21:25

Don't try and watch the prequel is awful!!!

shakeyourcaboose · 24/08/2017 21:26

The premise is how poor Sebastian went all baaaaad - of course fault of a female! NB no original cast in it!!

MusicToMyEars800 · 24/08/2017 21:28

shakey I wouldn't dream of it, I'm the same with Mean Girls, I can't bring myself to watch Mean girls 2.

Oh God. I used to love this film.

When I rewatched it as an adult, I was absolutely horrified by the message it sends out about consent and sexual assault.

Grim.

MusicToMyEars800 · 24/08/2017 21:30

Oh no it's at that cringey scene with the girl on girl snog

That scene is cringingly awful- did it not win an award though?

MusicToMyEars800 · 24/08/2017 21:45

Barbiessharpfeet · 24/08/2017 21:48

Fandabidozy · 24/08/2017 21:50

This was one of my favourite movies as a teen and I watched it again a few weeks ago, still love it :o

Totally forgot how hot Ryan Phillipe was and Joshua Jackson too!

Yes, I also realised where I recognised "Daniel" from at that point (well CI and Resident Evil) although he definitely got better with age...

Have seen it countless times and still cried when Sebastian died :(

Fandabidozy · 24/08/2017 21:51

Ooh related purely by my teen era, remember Urban Legend? Also one of my favourites!

MusicToMyEars800 · 24/08/2017 21:54

Fanda Yes!!
I love having nostalgic movie moments Grin
Ryan Phillipes arse in the pool scene Shock I forgot how peachy it was Grin My OH actually looks a bit like him with his facial features, maybe that's what physically attracted me to him 12 years ago Grin

I don't understand how she gets the car at the end. No way would a teenage boy have made a Will surely

NorthernLurker · 24/08/2017 23:08

I always assumed his family gave it yo her

StealthPolarBear · 24/08/2017 23:10

Ah the missing mum and dad. I didn't think they even knew she was on the scene!

shakeyourcaboose · 25/08/2017 06:57

It was Counting Crows Colourblind- I sadly have the Darius version in my head.... God I sound like I have v poor taste on this thread!!

shakeyourcaboose · 25/08/2017 07:00

And my name is actually a wee nod to the original Kirsty Swanson film and the ' How funky is your chicken' cheer.... 'and shake your caboose' if any one knows it going back to 90s nostalgia! Grin
