Ghost Story

Could someone come on and explain to me why this isn't hugely overrated? I went to see it instead of Atomic Blonde because it received such fantastic reviews (and AB didn't). Slow, dull and incomprehensible. I really didn't understand it, and I'm reasonably intelligent. Did anyone like it.

I loved it. The ghost couldn't let go. When C was walking towards the light in the hospital he should have gone through it but he didn't and is trapped. He has nowhere to go other than back to the house.

He is stuck there .Time moves on-the house is eventually abandoned and demolished. The other ghost lets go but he C still stuck there. The whole area is developed-possibly and time has moved on far in to the future. He tries to "die" by throwing himself off the tall building but instead goes back in time. C is still in the same geogrphical location but 100s of years earlier than before . Time moves forward until he is back to the point he started. He sees himself back at the house. He dies again in the crash and a second ghost of C returns. Eventually C manages to retrieve the note M left in the wall. Whatever is written there finally releases him.
