Spiderman Homecoming

Planning to see it but not sure if I need to see the Avengers film first.

Any plans or has anyone seen it?

My husband took our 12 and 9 year old today - they all absolutely loved it, like really loved it. Husband says you don't need to see have seen the Avengers, there's a few references but nothing huge. Kids haven't seen the Avengers film!

It could help to have seen Captain America: Civil War, as Spiderman appears briefly in that. Although I have seen it, I had forgotten a lot of the plot and wished I'd re-watched it beforehand. It references Age of Ultron in places, but not in a way you'd feel lost if you haven't seen Age of Ultron. It's possible to enjoy it as a stand alone.

I saw it. Wasn't blown away by it.

I felt the same. I was slightly disappointed really. I loved the Spider-Man parts in 'Civil War'. It was enjoyable, and fun, but very forgettable.

It was silly imo.

I kept waiting for it to get going. But no, that was all it was going to be.

I've seen more nefarious plots in Disney films.

I liked it..but just felt so long! Guessing this be the last attempt of it though for least a while. Only so many reboots can do in short amount of time

I thought it was too long too. I have low tolerance for films over 2 hours though!

I thought it was really boring despite liking most of the other Marvel films, managed to fall asleep much to DP's chagrin

The day before yesterday I watched this film, I did not really like it. The beginning of the film is boring, the middle is interesting, and the end is too predictable. For 6.5 out of 10 points.

And tomorrow I want to see war for the planet of the apes

I was bored. It was very long and drawn out. Obviously more to come though. The porn comment made the adults laugh and multiple children say mid film, mum what's porn!

I got quite bored too.

As I said Ive seen more nefarious plots in Disney films.

I thought it would progress beyong Spiderman trying to thwart the alien weapons dealers. But that was all it was about.....robbing atm machines was as evil as the bad guys got.

I thought so what! Much bigger evil in the world than people selling alien technology. He just wouldnt give it up.
